Merion Village Project
A Total Home Renovation
Project Details
This project was pretty much a full rehab. We swapped all the windows with double hung energy efficient replacements. It was given a new energy efficient furnace and AC system. The electrical panel was upgraded, and we added wafer lights (can lights) to the living room and kitchen. All the original hardwood floors were sanded and finished with 3-4 coats of oil-based poly urethane for a natural look.
The kitchen was completely gutted. We removed a load bearing wall and hid the header and jacks within the ceiling and walls. The kitchen was completely redesigned and remodeled with new shaker white cabinets, soap stone marble counters and new porcelain tile and new appliances. We also added a half bath in the back of the kitchen. The bathroom upstairs was gutted, and a new tub and double sink vanity were installed. The shower and floor were redone with custom tile work. And new paint, new lighting and plumbing fixtures throughout.
